Our client is a jewellery retail company based in India. Currently, the group has 36 jewellery stores across South India and with a work-force of more than 2000 people. They were the first
jewellery store to introduce the ready-made jewellery concept and have won several awards in the jewellery industry. Till date, they retain their position as the highest sales tax-paying jewellery showroom award in Kerala.

Our client was using conventional methods to track their assets in addition to management of employees like attendance, utilization of resources etc. They were managing their inventory by conducting time-consuming manual counts and these intensive processes made them highly susceptible to human error and also led to losing sales due to delays.
Solution Requirements

  • Movement details of assets including ornaments

  • Touchless attendance management system

  • Equipment tracking and utilization system

  • Real-time reports and analytics

  • Automation of parking location availability system

Bluetooth Smart ID cards were provided to each employee and we Bluetooth Smart Tags each asset in the inventory to track their exact location. Smart sensor devices called CloudSense were installed at selected points and they detect signals from smart ID cards and smart tags. CloudSense devices send the received signals to dSense cloud in real-time and administrators were provided with a real-time dashboard which showed detailed reports and real-time data.

With our extremely cost-effective and affordable solution, our client was able to reduce their lead time in searching for various assets and achieved a major boost in productivity.
