Using dSense, our IoT based location and live analytics solution, we developed a custom mobile application for customers visiting the hotel. This enables customers to access and manage most of the hotel facilities via smartphones or tablets. In addition to this, our Smart Sensors (called CloudSense) were installed at selected points across the hotel and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) Smart ID cards were distributed to the staff. Smart Beacon Tags were attached to assets so that the management team could easily track and locate various assets within the hotel premises. BLE signals transmitted from these Smart Beacons and Tags were captured by CloudSense devices were automatically sent to dSense cloud in real-time and this data was accessible to hotel administrators via web and mobile dashboards in the dSense application.
Using dSense, our client was able to digitally transform their hotel operations which greatly helped in boosting their booking reservations, sales and provide a truly 5-star experience to customers.
