Our client is the leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions in the State of Qatar with an overall area of 830,000 sq.m in warehouses and distribution centers. They expanded beyond its origins as a warehousing company with over 1200 Trucks, 2200 Employees and 3.77 Billion assets.

Problem
Statement

In the current scenario, our client’s warehouse management solution lacks a system to monitor the assets in real-time. They were in need to integrate such a system into their existing warehouse management system. This would provide a reliable solution for improving their productivity and performance which will lead to cost savings.

Our
Solution

Our solution included deploying the dSense platform which was configured to easily track assets in the warehouse in real-time. Bluetooth Smart Tags were attached to each asset in the inventory and signals transmitted the smart tags were captured by the CloudSense devices installed at different locations of the warehouse. These signals were directly sent from CloudSense devices to the dSense cloud in real-time and administrators were able to analyse and view reports of all assets moving inside the warehouse through the real-time web and mobile dashboards provided.

With this extremely cost-effective and affordable solution, our client was able to receive a great RoI with lowered project costs.
